The Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering focuses on good stewardship of our planet through research and discovery in the areas of renewable resources and total utilization of crops, animal, and other natural resources.
Our agricultural and biological engineering undergraduate and graduate programs have been ranked consistently in the top five in the U.S. The department has earned national preeminence in the areas of precision farming, water quality, corn processing and co-products in ethanol production, environmental engineering, automation, and biosystems analysis.
Reputations don’t just happen, they’re earned. The importance of the work being done in this area cannot be overstated. We have immense opportunities that require the means to recruit the best faculty and students to the program and to provide them with research facilities and laboratories that are state-of-the-art. Assist us in continuing to attract graduate students to the program who are highly successful in industry, government, and academia.
